She's clearly an experienced & caring healer who took the time to listen and answer all of my seemingly endless questions. It was refreshing to learn that she had actually read through all of the information we provided in advance of the appointment. She gave us proactive homework and lots to think about regarding next steps, and even followed up on something she became aware of after our appointment she knew we would want to know. WOW! Mojo"Dr Ilana was the 4th doctor I consulted for my dog Mojo after his bicycle accident and she was the first one not to suggest immediate surgery. She gave him an accurate diagnosis and created a plan for him that worked. She's also the first vet he's been to that he adores spending time with. Mojo is completely recovered. I can't recommend her enough, I wish she could be my doctor.."

"AWAP probably doesn't need accolades (there is already a long waiting list!) but I am happy to write one. To begin with, Ilana's comprehensive veterinary and alternative medicine professionalism, figuring out treatments and exercises to address both M & B's problems and continued adjustments to the meds to address the various layers of symptoms, was something that is not available anywhere. Secondly, you all are such a talented team of experienced, compassionate, hard-working professionals - all to the benefit of senior pets and their owners. Your skills combined with your unflappable coping abilities to deal with the many poop accidents that came your way, are exceptional. Bennie in particular, was always terrified of going to the vet for a check-up - he would start shaking as we pulled in the driveway, and wouldn't stop until we left, but he never had that reaction with AWAP. Despite getting shots, I think he thought of it as an adventure - fun in the treadmill, and very relaxing with the shockwave massages! The frozen baby food was a special treat he loved. But more than anything, I'm sure it was how you treated him that made the difference." From Kate and Don
