Medical Team

What I do for the team:
I am currently a senior in high school at Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep and will start my college journey at U.C. Berkeley in the fall. I live in San Francisco with my mom, my dad and my sister, who is a junior in high school. I have been working with animals, mostly dogs and cats, since I was 8 years old. My parents never let my sister and I have a dog because of school and traveling, so I started working with Rocket Dog Rescue. I have been with them for 10 years and during my time I have helped endless amounts of rescue dogs find forever homes and get them to trust people again. I have fostered over 11 dogs during my childhood and can proudly say all of them found forever homes. Working with animals and people has always been a big passion of mine and when I met Ilana over the summer at a Rocket Dog Event, she could see that too. I was hired after my first day in July to work every Saturday with the team and have been working at A Well Adjusted Pet ever since. Working at a vet clinic was a dream come true since I am still in the midst of deciding whether to go into vet medicine or become a physician assistant. I have gained so much knowledge and respect for this team and everything we do here. When I'm not busy with school or work, I am training with the swim team, singing with my school choirs, performing in plays and musicals or spending quality time with my family and friends. They both mean the world and I love watching movies and playing music with my family. I also occasionally swim with my dad in the SF Bay when I have the chance and love going shopping with my mom. I'm a super big Disney fan and I am the biggest foodie ever. |
